A Night of Art, Music, Dance and Celebration

The Indianapolis Black Theater Company (IBTC) is thrilled to announce the 2025 Indianapolis Black Theater Showcase — a night filled with live music, captivating performances, and community celebration.

This one-of-a-kind event brings together some of Indianapolis’s most talented artists, featuring performances from multiple theater companies, including the Asante Arts Institute of Indianapolis, alongside stunning scenes and monologues from IBTC’s own company members.

Special Appearances & Performances

Audiences will be treated to a special performance by Artistic Director, Tijideen Rowley, whose visionary leadership continues to shape IBTC’s mission of storytelling, healing, and transformation through art.

Adding to the evening’s excitement, the showcase will be hosted by the charismatic Daren J. Fleming (Sag-Aftra), ensuring an unforgettable night filled with energy, humor, and heartfelt moments.

Live musical performance from Komoca Rowley whose powerful voice is sure to captivate and inspire! Accompanied by the legendary jazz pianist Carl Hines and a live band!
