Calling All Playwrights!

IBTC’s American Black Playwriting Contest opens September 1st. Submit your unpublished original work for a chance to win $7500 and a one year development deal, culminating in a 2025 season premiere. We want plays that highlight the Black American Experience. Indiana-based playwrights, there’s a special prize for you! Stay tuned for more information!

Shape The Future Of Theater With Us!

Part-Time General Manager:

The General Manager reports directly to the Artistic Director and will be responsible for all bookkeeping activities including payroll, budget planning, box office revenue, as well as assisting the Artistic Director in strategic business planning for the future growth of IBTC. The General Manager will be responsible for production budgets and facilitate contracts with actors, production staff and independent contractors. This is a hybrid position with 80% remote work and 20% in house. Some nights and weekends attending productions.

Skills Needed:

A four year degree in business or accounting is preferred with three years experience in management.
